We are approaching..
It is less than 2 weeks away from our big day. Still busy packing my stuffs, planning my decor.. (You may find out more from our Wedding Blog!!)
Currently PC down at home. I think have to wait till I return from Beijing then repair. Due to that I can hardly blog, search for photos. Gotta wait till I'm at Jazs' house then can upload photos taken on my recent van-out trip with family.
Another part of my mind was thinking about X'mas 2008... This will be the first time I'll be spending it overseas. In the meantime, really gotta go around Orchard Road to check out the lovely night scenary before I depart for China. I was also hoping to meet up with my poly-mates during one of these days. But I has been organising 'failed' outings! > <
With the festival mood inside me, my mind was filled with X'Mas decor in my office work desk. Thinking and thinking, creative juice erupt out from my brain on my company committee programme. = ) It's a pity that I can't be there to send out those gifts and take part in the gift exchange.
Currently all I hope is an unforgettable and lovely Dec 2008.

I think....
I think..... My eyesight is failing...
I think..... Getting lasik... Think it will cost $2k?
I think..... I need find other exercise that won't affect my back recovery. (I was told not to exercise for the time being and refrain from carrying heavy stuffs *Not even my baby nephew!!)
I think.... Due to this, I'm getting fatter..
I think.... I need to eat lesser so as not to burst my suit on 18th Dec 08.
I think.... I'm a broke-back kid... (I need to wait for my X'ray review before I can confirm on that.)
I think.... I need to save alot. Try to keep myself cash-rich, without much liabilities.
I think.... I better turn in now...

Life Transformers
I'm tired... Why? Post-F1 effect...
I caught the dramatic finale of F1 season 08, Brazil. Saw how Glock car failed before the finish line that allow Hamilton & Vettel to overtake his position for Lewis Ham. to clinch the Driver Champion.
I saw how Massa dropped his tears in front of his home fans. Disappointing but a nice race to watch, as Ferrari got all pit stop and tactics done correctly. Hopefully next season, Ferrari team can put up a better resistance against this prodigy, Hamilton.
Moments ago, I watched Channel 8, "Life Transformers". Saw how Christoper Lee + Quan Yi Feng furnish houses of the poor.
This week was a 60 years old Mother taking care of her 30 years old son with mental problem. Looking at how this old lady take care of her son, without much support from others. I absolutely feel for them.
For me, due to my job scope, I've been to numerous residents like them or even worse. I witnessed house without any floor tiles, white peeling paint on wall, orange round light bulb as their living only light source.
I feel that there are alot people around us, which really need assistance, just that we, the fortunate ones just didn't get to see them. Reading through newspaper, reviewing how Teens not realizing how lucky they were. Simply not caring a bit of the future recession, spending money like a water tap bursting with water.
Listen to this song, it may touch deep down your heart.

I felt really estatic
After watching replays of this morning Arsenal VS my fav Tottenham, I can't stop my heart from yelling inside.
4 - 4 is the score. This leave my jaws open this morning 7.30am when I check livescore on my cellphone. I can't wait to on my PC immediately. *But I din... Sure be late for work...
I'm not sure if you guys follow Jazs' blog. But I thought I better shout out loud (Errr... I think is.... write it down here) to let you, my dear friends know about this :
*Juz in case you've forgotten...
*Juz in case, I din get to tell you verbally...
Jazs & I are going to ROM this coming Dec 2008!
Lots of ideas... Lots of plannings...
I think wait till I 'finally' do up OUR wedding blog, where I reveal all our preparation in there! Please be patient with my 'slowness'... I promise it will be out really soon!!

I continue to talk...
Extremely busy at work today... What to do... LL... Bear with it...
I found that for the month of October 2008, I went Hort Park with Jazs for 3 times? *I think so... We certainly enjoy the trip. It is a very fun and happy afternoon spent especially when I drove my Mum, sister, Jazs and my cutie nephew over in the mini car, GetZ.
Money definitely cannot not buy these precious moments for me to go on an outing with them.. I really hope for another chance for that.
So on 10th Oct 08, we set off to Hort Park from IMM. The fiery fire ball up the sky failed to spoil our moods. We enjoyed that beautiful plants, bright light for extremely nice photos and scenery.
Upon reaching Hort Park, Jazs went snapping shots after shots...
If not under this hot weather, I doubt we can take such nice pictures.
Stairway
This is my bubbly nephew!
Very cute right?
Jazs and BoyBoy taking a rest under the slide.
Nice tree with huge canopy sheltering us!
By the way, I do have more photos at my Flickr account.
After this afternoon, I really wonder how am I going to take wedding photos under this kinda weather? I'm gonna melt in my shirt..
*Candice & Han Bin, after looking at your photos, I really take my hat off to you guys.

I organised but screwed it up
Yesterday was meant to be fun event. But I engaged in a phone argument with one f**ker... Ya I admit that it's my fault, but I got pissed by his attitude. *D.L... Cannot take it, just blast all out on the phone last night.
Argh...

Full-house weekend
I was on leave from 9th till 12th Oct. I really enjoyed it, mind filled with too much stuffs. I decided to start with FOODS!!
On 9th, Jazs and I went over to Balestier 'Founder Ba Kut Teh' - Located at "347 Balestier Road". This store was really famous, once you walk in, you will know. Why? Coz you will be welcome with lots of celebs photos taken with the boss. *I think got 40 plus pics!! Without further delay, show you what we ate.
Rice, Ba kut teh (Re-fillable), you tiao, pig trotters, beansprouts. Cost us around $25.
Take a closer look. The soup was very peppery!! The porky meat with the chill black sauce, was really nice!
This is heavily sinful with fats... But I muach everything down!
Overall I feel that service was kinda fast. (Within 10min, all dishes placed right in front of u!) I suggest you go over 11am to avoid Lunch crowds.
Next stop....
On 12th, I finally get to eat 'Aston Specialties (Katong)' located at "119 East Coast Road (opposite Katong Mall)" I went with Jazs & Cindy for our dinner, reaching there around 6.45pm. Looking at the usual queue nearly turn us off. Eventually it turns out pretty fast, within 15mins, order were taken while in queue. Seated for another 10mins, foods went slowly served to us.
This is what I ate : Ribeye Steak Xtra Cut - Medium Well - $16.90
Griggles went crazy over it!
Jazs ate : Lemon & Lime Chix - $6.50
Cindy had : Double up chix (Crispy & Pepper Chix) - $10.50 *Worth it!!!!
Our verdicts are similar!! Price worth it! Foods really Great!! You don't have that 'fried, oily' smell on your shirts after dining! Same rule applies : Dinner, be there around 5.30pm, queue were really scary at times.
Will update you guys with other outings again!

Even 'Sound' can make me so excited
Call me crazy...
After dinner tonight, I drove over to Raffles Place with Jazs. Hoping to find a parking lot and try to peep through the fence for some glimpses of Formula 1. Unfortunately I can't find any, headed towards ECP.
BUT!! I'm Happily 'jamming' my way there. Up the road, Jazs got so excited and started to unwind the window.
"Uuuu... Mmm...." I heard that.. I was driving and enjoying the sound made by those speedy cars. Tried looking at my right side where the pit stop is, saw a few cars went past. Wee... The feeling was indescribable!
I was kinda desperate, searching online, to check if there is any $38 Walkabout ticket left. *Ha! All sold out.
Other then this, I was quite happy to know that HDB just release (I long awaited) blocks of flats!!
Meanwhile, tomorrow I'll be home watching Kimi Rai. and Massa zoom past Marina Square!!

Laying my steps on F1 track
Over the weekend, I went over Raffles Place, Esplanade area to take a look at Singapore very first and Formula 1 very first Night Race!
Dear Jazs posing with the map
The lighting were simply too bright!!!
Before Kimi.R and Massa take on this route, have you 'speed' past here?
All set clear and ready!
We now cross over to One Fullerton.....
I really hope that I could still stand here on 28th Sept 08!!
I think I will be home on 26 to 28 Sept 08, to catch F1 SG. Hopefully Kimi.R will be able to triumph here!!
Say what I like
"Regardless of the end result...
What matters most is the process of doing the thing that interests YOU the most!"
Or....
"The tougher the experience YOU went through,
the more YOU will appreciate the end result...."

Moooooo Cake
Yesterday night, went over Ngee Ann City to shop for some mooncakes as gifts to Jazs and my parents. Lone ranger Antz, went offensive mode against the 'Auntie's wave' within the Ngee Ann City Atrium.
Managed to buy two pieces of Shangri-la traditional mooncakes (Mixed nuts with pork trotter + White lotus Single york)
For your info, this two pieces cost $28+. It really increases a lot (in price) as compared to last year.
I couldn't bear not to buy this snowskin mooncake.... Mmm...
Four Seasons Durians!!
Let's take a look inside!!
You want a more close-up look?
But apologies, I'm not able to let you sniff on here! *Haha!! Actually I thought of buying Goodwood Park hotel Durian snowskin, but everywhere I go (12pm at Carltex house & 4pm at Raffles City), it is all 'Sold Out'. So when I reached home just now, Guess what! I saw the yellow box of Goodwood Park Hotel mooncake!! It is not snowskin, but traditional one are good enough to fulfil my crave for now!
By the way, the Mooncake fair is on till 14th Sept 08. Better get there soon if you want the more 'branded' ones!!!!
P.S. On Monday, I happened to catch some parts of Channel U 'SuperBand'. I was quite impressed by this group, 三月, presented a very different taste of MayDay song. I think the main vocal have a very 'Pub-type' of voice. Nice!

Wondering have I ever say things at the right time?
It's weekend!! I just (finally) resolve my new modem problem. I was actually spending the last few days trying to figure out how to connect to the net. Finally I'm here now. *Phew...
I feel happy after reading Dear Jazs' blog and Candice's one this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to Dec 08 and Jan 09!!
As it is Friday night, I thought these songs really suit my mood now.
Timbaland - "The Way I Are" featuring Keri Hilson
The man w/ the sexy vocal - Craig David - "Hypnotic"
I wonder have you heard this song before, I feel it is very nice song which makes you feel like nodding your head so hard as if you are on estacy!!!
Timbaland ft. Fall Out Boy - "One And Only"
Nelly Furtado - "Say it right"

I finally found it
Thanks to my colleague, I finally found the title of this song! I think I can listen to it 10 times a day!! I really didn't know there is a movie with this song. Just happen to overhear in on radio, but simply can't find the song title.
It's by Hugh Grant and Haley Bennett - Way Back Into Love
This song is also taken over to Asia and sang by Fish Leong & Pin Guang.
Enjoy!!

Have U ever say Thanks?
Teacher's Day...
I hardly can recall any good memories on eve of this day from Kindergarten, all the way till Polytechnic.
I'm shy... I really do... Maybe I don't show that. Or is that I am just afraid to expose my poor command of English (as my classmates mostly are potato-eaters) So that slowly mould a quiet Me.
Not to say, this word, "Thanks." which since toddler, we have been taught to say it as a return for one's assistance to you. Even during Teacher's Day, I have never put "Thanks" to an action to my teachers. E.g. A tiny gift, a stalk of flower... Well, every year, I was there, sitting in a corner, overlooking my classmates flood my teacher with their gifts in the classroom.
2 factors, why I don't or should I say, I can't...
- My pocket money was only enough for a tuckshop 50 cents bowl of noodles.
- I will either stammer or stay mute, if I ever turn up in front my teachers with a gift.
I think that my teacher will be thankful to me, if I do any thing stupid that day!
During Kindergarten, my mother mostly pick me up in the Teachers' Room, unlike my friends who went off via the main door. Coz I never get enough of mischief stuffs!
I still can remember this incident very clearly..... In order to save money, Mum brought a one size bigger school shoes for me (they can even come loose while walking!) One day, I got damn irritated by an Indian classmate, that I tried to kick him on the face. Unfortunately, I misses, and that was a really bad miss. My brand new shoes flew across the class and landed in front of my teacher. I was immediately slapped on the palm, sent to detention. As usual, caned by Mum back at home after being told by the English Language Teacher.
During Primary school, this jinx hit me again, and this occurred during Teacher's Day celebration.
I think it is Pri 2, whole class was having fun with potato chips, party poppers & stuffs. This Maths teacher was chatting with my female classmates, while I was playing crazily with paper-fold Ninja darts. Happily folded my first (and last) paper dart, I threw it up to the ceiling. *Wooo!! And it bounced off the fan and landed on my teacher's eye brow. Teacher got mad, send me out of the class, staring at the sky, till party end. I walked back home with a forlorn face.
Secondary School, I was part of the celebration event. Got laughed by fellow classmates, why? My class have two Wushu members, one is a female, one is Me. She was always up there performing individually, attracting lots of attention. Whereas Me? My duty was to carry a heavy carpet with my friends, lay it nicely for the performers..... I'm more like a joke...
Other than this, I done numerous rules-breaking stuffs.
- I damaged a basketball ring....
- I played soccer during POAccounts lessons...
- I slept through 60% of lessons...
- I nearly got caught by Principle and Vice-Principle when smoking at nearby block void deck....
After 'O's levels, I always hope to go back to secondary school, paying those teachers a visit. But I always questioned myself, do they remember me? Have I ever left any nice memories for them? Seriously, I cannot recall much.
Till now, I simply have no chance to say "Thanks" to all the teachers who had taught me, show me the guidance to where I am now. If not for them, I afraid I won't at where I'm standing now. This is probably one of the regret which lingers inside me these past 24 years.

Feeling accomplished
Spent a fruitful weekend. And was very glad with my purchases now.
Staring in front of me is my new Edifier (Cheap cheap) 2+1 speakers.
Inside my bag is my new Sony Cybershot W150. This is truly a tough decision after my long courtship of a digital camera.
And they won't be here with me, if not for Comex 08!! This is certainly a national event! From 60years old uncles to 30years old daddys to Ban-ka-la (which linger around your void decks) I went there on Thursday (First day), found there was not much crowds as compared to last IT Show. Wander around, trying to get as much Digital cams flyers. Spoken to S**y and Olymp** staffs, but found out that they really don't know much about the products they are selling!! Simply reading from the catalogue given!
Tried going into the Panasonic Lumix's crowds but failed. So was doing research online for reviews and feedbacks on those models which I've shortlisted.
Went back over on Saturday noon with 2 friends. This time managed to squeeze into Panasonic's crowds, after 20minutes of consideration, I decided to head back to Sony booth. Planned to get model A but last minute before I pay, change my mind to get W150 which cost $100 more due to the freebies given.
When heading home, I carried 2 big bags or rather I dragged them home..
Whatever... What matters most is that I'm feeling great! Time to head out to take my shots!!

Weekend Task
This few days, while I'm on leave.. I'm still on the go.. Doing my research of Digital cams, JPs, Ring pillows...
Jazs was really busy with her assignments and tests. Really pity her....
Tomorrow gotta go over Comex for final round of research, and hopefully I can get the one I desire and turn out suits my usage.
Any one got nice recommendation or review of your current digi cam? Care to share with me at the eleventh-hour?

Dirtiest run I ever did..
Yesterday, while Jazs was taking her test in the afternoon. I was wandering around, window shopping around from Orchard to Suntec under the rain. Count myself lucky not to get myself sick today. After Dinner with Jazs & family, I gotta give the Korea's firework presentation a miss, I reached home around 10pm. And turn in after an hour.
Waking at 5.40am today was torturing. When I heard the alarm, I told myself, "If it is heavy rain, I shall get back to sleep." When I opened my eyes, it was a cool weather, not a bit of rain... I couldn't control myself as I lie down like a dead pig. Struggled as I warm-up and do some stretching, my eyes were closed as I brushed teeth.. I'm so freakly tired... *Arghz...
Breakfast was plain bread with banana. Board the cab and reached Esplanade at 6.25am. Join the crowds, and moments later, I heard the flag off. As usual I was down there 300m away from the Start line.
Well, I started off smoothly, trying to adopt the correct running method. Reaching the 14km mark without feeling the usual knee pain I had in the past. But what's lie in front of me is,
Mud..
Soil...
Soft terrain...
LL... I proceed forward. Within minutes, I found my favourite Adidas red shoes covered with mud. *Arhhh!!! From then onwards, I went as slow as I can. The change in gradient and terrain were really a bother for me. Poor adapting ability overwhelmed me. Finally reaching the Marina Barrage at 2hrs, strolling my way as I stepped on this newly erected bridge which overlook Sheares Bridge, CBD, Fullerton hotel and SG flyer. Amazing view indeed. Argh... Felt my first cramp on my calf.
From then on, I half jogged and limpped my way toward Fullerton Hotel. And I finally complete SG Bay Run within 2hrs30mins. Absolutely glad that I did better then during my army days. I think those video clips I've watched, really helps. What really matters to me most is I'm facing no extreme pain on my knees and legs.

Running Techinques
As 24th Aug 08 draw closer, I kinda worry about my physical ability to withstand 21km..
Feeling like a dog being cornered, I have yet to complete a 8km run for the past few months! Currently is like a Chinese saying : "Gan cheong dog jump over the wall" So i resulted in searching for correct running techinques. I thought this clip is useful.
I only come to know about the Nike Human race last week, just surf the webby, found the 'dri-fit' tee given look much more nicer than SG BayRun's tee. *Ha! Forget it... This weekend will try hunt for a jogging arm pouch, so as to carry my cellphone along to take a few pics from Sheares Bridge (that's is provided my knees dun give way...)

Olympics craze...
Currently the 'IN' thing. Olympics Beijing 2008.
An event which even Mr. Lee postponed his 'talkshow'. You can imagine how much attention was drawn towards it.
From passing of torch, which started out quite terrifying for the runners. Suspected b*mb found around Beijing. Till now, we all witnessed how Singapore finally break medal drought for 40+years. Got astonished how my swimming idol, Michael Phelps rise up to the occasion to grab all 8 Gold medals.
For me, I deliberately miss 'Old man running on wall' event on the Opening day. I really get started off watching the Olympics, starting from Swimming events. From Men's 400m Individual Medley Final to the last event Men's 4 x 100m Medley Relay Final. He is surely a prodigy of Swimming.
In the last Olympics, I watched (i rank) All-time greatest event,
2004 Athens Olympics Men's 200m Freestyle Final.
Flying Dutch dolphin, Pieter van den Hoogenband
Aussie Torpedo, Ian Thorpe
Upcoming American star, Michael Phelps
I was actually craving for a second helping for this event. Unfortunately, Ian Thorpe retired. Pieter van den Hoogenband isn't any younger for these events. Phelps domination, swept almost every events. Truly a great all-round swimmer we have ever come across. When the papers reported, The only one who can beat Phelps is he himself. I wonder, what if Thorpe hasn't retired? The world ever cast a line like this on Swiss Tennis King, Roger Federer. But now? Presently, we can only hope for a Nadal or Djkovic to appear in the pool, challenging this 'God of Swimming'.
The next event I follow, (isn't table tennis). Basketball!! Although this US Dream 8 Team form by NBA All-stars, seem invincible (close your eyes also know they will win Gold), I still happily watch the matches of them versus China and Spain.
Third sport, I TRIED to follow is Women Volleyball (Tv seldom show lehz). But today result, shows that I need not have to follow anymore. Coz Russia which is the team I supported for years have been beaten by China... *Sighz.. Starting from 2002, when there is a sport channel set up by Mediacorp, they showed some Women Volleyball World Championship. I was attracted to the Russian team formed by a few pretty and tall ladies!! (But not as pretty as Sharapova!!) I simply love the way how they attack by using their biggest advantage, Height. It was always an exciting match to watch them facing Brazil, Cuba and USA.
I especially like this player, Lioubov Chachkova. She is regards as one of the Greatest All-round player in the World of Volleyball. Thinking that this could be her last chance for an Olympics medal, I was hoping they are able to create another history of getting into the Finals like 2004 Athens Olympics. But today results send all hopes crushed.. What is left is past memories..
Ya!! Another one! Diving!! But I only watch events that feature the beautiful China's diving queen, Guo Jing Jing!! *LoL!!!
Lastly, I just wanna say this: They won it, Yes, they did. BUT!! I will be
supporting SG Olympics winner provided they are born at K.K Hospital. Call me a stubborn, old fella. I will only say it's good buy, but I'm not buying it. Apologies..

How he did that?
I simply cannot figure out where he got that last burst of energy that push the US team towards Gold position?
Jason Lezak was really the man! Phelps certainly have to thanks this man for STILL being on track for his Gold aim...

8 is the year I ever make her so happy
I can't believe that how time flies... Jazs & Antz have been together for 8 wonderful years. But this year, we have a something really special!
Something we look forward to....
Something that make us purchasing stuffs like running tap...
Something we know, after the hard work, product we'll get is 'Happiness'....
I never knew I was the first among all my best buddies to reach this stage!
But I'm glad that some of my best buddies weren't too far behind me! = )
In fact one of them is preparing something even grand then mine!
Well, I now have to focus on my Year end event. Last week, managed to complete some tasks:
- View a restaurant by Clarke Quay - But not to our liking. Photos from the website seems kinda grand, with nice atmosphere. On site was a different thing! OUT!
- Got my suit, shirt and pants at relatively cheap price! Less than $150.
- Collected our rings... I finally got my first diamond ring - I'm not gay, ask yourself!! When have you ever have a chance to find an excuse to wear a diamond ring? *Candice was the first who saw them... Sorry Mum...
- Spent a simple yet surprise lunch with Jazs where I presented to her .... Br..... Rose...
Accomplished like 60% of the stuffs, still have to work on the venue thingy now. But we are happily working, calculating out stuffs together. Looking at Jazs sunshine smile, certainly push aside all my tiredness.
I just wanna say thanks, Jazs, May we continue a few more cycles of 8 good years.

Snapping away while I strolled
Finally got my pics taken last weekend, which I went with Jazs & Family on a outing.
We walked through almost the whole stretch of 'The Southern Ridges'. Starting from Henderson Waves (Curvy wood structure) towards Forest Walk (elevated metal structure - full of I-beams) and Alexandra Arch. The journey through the artificial greens, ended at Hort Park (New NParks - Gardening Hub) Entrance.
Look at this webby if you wanna know more about 'The Southern Ridge'
Lunch was brought at Seah Im Hawker, and I nearly quarrel with that gan-cheong spider Char Kway Tiao auntie. Fortunately it didnt spoil my mood of enjoying my fav Lor Mee!
Back to the photos..
After looking through all those shots, and compare with Jazs' cousin's dig cam... I really have strong urge to buy a better cam!
By the way, those pics are taken with a 3.2 mega pixels camera. They are all uploaded at my Flickr web : http://flickr.com/photos/20939735@N04/
Enjoy!
Treasure those ard U
Due to change of working shift, I wasn't needed for work tis Sat.
Working environment change...
People around you change....
Your approach towards work certainly got to change too...
New experience for me...
Trying to adapt to it right now...
Keep on wondering how I should plan my future footsteps. As I've always say. Life still goes on... Friends in your workplace??? Pretty hard for one. Just follow your heart and Walk on...
Ok... Enough of that.. So this is how I spent my Sat :
1. Wash my piggies, giving them a nice shower... Looking at how comfortable they are after that brighten up my day!
2. Surf FaceBook.. Wondering why is my new Ambulance keep kana summon for no reason... (Parking War)
3. Went over Katong brought the "Glory Catering" $2.20 popiah. I feel it is worthwhile! Rate based on the taste of the chilli, big prawn. $3.20 for the Mee Siam, which is simply great! The more chilli the beta!
4. Watch 3 hours of "Animals Planet", while Jazs does her assignment.
5. Dinner was at the famous "Fly Fly Wa-ton Mee", ordered with very high expectation, but ended up. whining about the lack of taste in the mee... Till now, my rating of Best Wa-ton mee is still the "Jia Xiang Kolo Mee"!!
Sunday, what will I be doing? See how it goes when I wake up tomorrow..

Do I require English language lesson?
My manager corrects my silly grammar errors in my letter replies..
After reading through my blog, I discover lots of grammar and spelling errors...
I realises I could not speak proper or pronounce proper English...
I over-rely on MS-Word and www.dictionary.com....
This is how bad I am...
Primary school - I got Band 3 for English so often, that I got used to it.
Secondary school - After Sec 1, which I obtained a C5 in Final Year exam. Since then, I have been on track record of F9.
'O' Level - I really wonder how I got D7...
Poly - This is where my English pick up, through the class-mates around me who are mostly potato-eaters. My weekend job does help in my language improvement.
Currently, I doubt I have improve much since then...

Red Cliff - 赤壁
Yesterday morning I went Polyclinic to check on my aching back. After lunch, I went over Plaza Singapura redeem my free ticket (points earned by UOB card) at Golden Village.
So this is the day where I watch, which I feel, is the most entertaining movie taken from China history, "Romance of the Three Kingdom".
Brought my popcorn, sat down and muach away, preparing for this 2.5hrs movie. Heard from a few friends saying that, the movie was really draggy, and it ended before boats were even burnt. But I feel it is certainly a good attempt by John Woo. How the characters interact (some funny scenes between Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro), how the storyline move, the feeling of is better as compared to other asian directors.
How the generals of both armies crashed, how swift and cool those characters handle the weapons were really nice! It seems like watching real-life "Dynasty Warriors" (A action game featured on PS3, XBox & Windows XP.) Added to that, the casts were nicely fitted into the characters.
But it is a pity that those famous characters, e.g. Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhao Yun, weren't those more well-known actors. I was actually daydreaming about Andy Lau as Zhao Yun *LoL!! Think the reason is those characters camera roll time isn't that much, imagine hiring those well-known actors, in the end you get a hard time thinking about how to fit them in, how to increase their on-screen timing. Wages paid is also a problem.
Well, overall, it is a biggest and more worthwhile watching chinese movie. But one thing to ponder a thought, in view of the huge amount spent, if audiences managed to sleep in cinema, this is simply a big failure. I feel this worth watching during Fridays but without your popcorns.

The Dark Knight
Just went to catch "The Dark Knight" at Toa Payoh Eng Wah.
Allow me some time to explain why did I intend to watch this movie....
Since childhood I never taken a liking in watch superheros films.. Never did I got excited over Superman pushing planet Earth away from an asteroid, neither do I glued to tv staring at how Spidy did a freeze on New York City building. In fact, I detest superhero movies. But this new series of Batman, absolutely change my mind, as I turn my head back, watching the first episode, "Batman begins".
And I will say it is the BEST Batman movie I ever watch as compared to the nipples perking suit wore by George Clooney, the silly penguin thingy that tried to bomb around at Gotham City. But I can say, you won't regret stepping into the cinema for this 'new' BattyMan by this director. (I dun mind ever paying the weekend charge)
Anyway, the first episode certainly makes me wanna be there tonight, inside the cinema, trumbling alone...
Brought a single ticket. That fella who I brought the ticket from, indeed give me a single ticket, PLUS center seat but it is next to a parapet wall.. *argh...
1840hrs... Timer tick off for this 150 minutes movie..
First scene blast away by a few jokers robbing the bank. Till then I stay glued to my seat, getting a shock once awhile the charming-looking Christian Bale (I swear I'm not GAY.. He look really great!) disguise as Batman turned up in front the scene.
Stared at how the Joker amazinly act out by the late Heath Ledger, poked a pen-knife into the villian's mouth.
I thought this two mentioned are the only one really worthwhile paying for the ticket price. Erm.. This is another guy... He did not appear in any scenes, but he contribute to Why this movie is currently number one in US.
Christopher Nolan
This movie is never about how hero win over villians. (Which is why I like it.) Whereas it dig really deep into the world of Joker. Why he kills.. How well he plans as he kills.. How he was transform into this state.. And it is all reveal in a straightforward manner. (He certainly deserve credit for that.)
Batman character did not really have a large breakthrough. But he is cool as ever. How the camera shot the way he glided around the building, riding on his Lambor. Stunning indeed. It is a little pity part of the movie, Probably the focus was much on Joker.
Whatever it is, Please watch it if you like the first episode! Let's see if I watch 'Red Cliff' tomorrow, if so, I will tell you about it.

Sick again and again...
Right now, my desk is filled with 3 different packets of medication from my 3 visits to clinic.
On Sunday night, I felt weak & sick after dinner...
Monday noon, went for lunch at Sizzler... My plate were filled with greenie veggies.. *What else can I eat?!
Tuesday Morning, there comes the pain... See a poor attitude doctor... Lie motionlessly on bad from 12pm to 7pm... Dinner, then there the 'Zzz..' hammer knock me out again from 10.45pm to 7.35am...
Today morning, after taking med. I was like sleep-walking to bus stop... Luckily I get my stuffs right.. Answer every phone call with my sexy yet sore voice... *argh...
Tomorrow, hopefully I feel beta...
Yesterday while resting, happen to hear this song over 987FM. It is call "Better On Time" by Leona Lewis (she is a great vocal and beautiful look.) Enjoy!

Jason Mraz - I'm yours
Have you hear this song over the radio?? I fall in love with after listening to it for the 1st time!
I simply love this part of the lyrics :
" I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours
Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find
love love love love "

Sorrow ending
This morning was the day where I watch my dear Netherlands crashes out of Euro 2008. 1-3 After extra time losing to Russia.
They were simply outplayed by Russians who are headed by Guus Hiddink (who mastermind the South Koreans 4th WorldCup 2002, Aussies QuarterFinalist WorldCup 2006)
Dutch's defence was exposed by tall Roman Pavluchenko. 4 defenders plus holding midfielder couldn’t be there to cope with in-form Andrei Arshavin.
It is pity that Arjen Robben could not play due to injury. But why was Ibrahim Afellay not in XI, instead Dirk Kuyt who is a slow striker placed on right wing? Shouldn’t a defensive tactics be used? Why was Orlando Engelaar taken off when Andrei Arshavin required much more attentions? Have Dutch watched the vids "Russia VS Sweden" of how the Russian roam around the field as if they are playing home?
I was still holding on hopes when my idol RVN levelled the score... Well, final score matters the most.
I am absolutely devasted once again as Netherland choked during the knock out stages. I’m utterly sad by today performance. I thought we could do better. But... I'm not sure if I still have the mood to follow through the Euro to finals without them.
Nevertheless, thanks to all Netherland players who brought us to this stage and all the thrilling matches we had (Especially VS Italy and France). I really hope that the new incoming coach will be someone like Guus Hiddink or Scolari or Lippi. We simply need a old warrior rather than young ex-player without much experience.
Hup Hup Oranje Holland!! TotaalVoetbal still rules!

Phew... So close...
This morning, I was doing an inspection on rooftop of a 12th storey block of flat.
I was checking with my eyes shifting left to right. As I am walking on the secondary roof slab, one of the concrete cube (supporting the secondary slab) chipped off, and my feet sank along with concrete slab. Twisted my ankle, and I fell forward.
Felt the great pain on my right palm... But I only come to realise that I was only lying a metre away from the edge of roof. Can't complain. Well, it is part of my job. Probably I'm too 'lucky'.. Now even feel the pain on my palm as I sms with my thumb. *Argh..
After that moment, I certainly will hesitate for a while should the next time I am required to access the ROOFTOP.

Are you feeling better now?
Dad and Mummy will not forget this date. Do you know how shocked I was, when I saw you lying sideway, struggling to stand up.
